Education

March 1996, Bachelor of Engineering, Dpt. of Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo, Japan
March 1998, Master of Engineering, Dpt. of Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo, Japan
March 2001, Doctor of Engineering, Dpt. of Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo, Japan

Work Experience

April 1998 - March 2001, Research Assistant (University of Tokyo)
April 2001 - September 2003, Engineer, Structural Engineering Center, JR-EAST
October 2003 - , Associate Professor, Yokohama National University

I'm engaged in Concrete Engineering and Maintenance Engineering researh works.
My special interests are (now especially, (1)-(6)):

(1) Damage of Blast-furnace Slag Concrete due to High Temperature History and Improving Methods
(2) Mechanical Behavior of Expansive Concrete (especially in Tension)
(3) Improvement of Qualities of Concrete in Very Early Age by Small amount of Synthetic Short Fiber
(4) Surface Treatment of Concrete (Water Barrier Penetrants) for High Durability (joint research with JR-EAST)
(5) Self-Repairing Function for Cracks of Concrete (joint research with JR-EAST, University of Tokyo)
(6) Structural Performance of RC Deep Beem with Deteriorated Anchorage

(7) Development of New Type of Structure (Prestressed Concrete)
(8) Durability Problems and Maintenance of Concrete structures in real sturctures
(9) Structural Analysis of Prestressed Concrete (especially in Shear)

I was engaged and interested in :

(10) Performance Evaluation of Damaged Structures (Mechanical or Environmental Damage)
(11) Recycle of Concrete (Including Recycle System)
(12) Construction Management
(13) Self-Compacting High Performance Concrete
